Cacharel

Cacharel was founded in 1962 by Jean Bousquet in La Marais, Paris. Bousquet was born in 1932 to a father who was a sewing machine salesman. At the age of 15 he became an apprentice to a tailor. In 1958 he opened his own shop which tailored men's shirts, but by 1962, he had decided to specialize in women's fashion. Cacharel is the namesake of a bird mostly found in the south of France.

United Colours Of Benetton

Benetton is an international fashion powerhouse that was founded by four family members in Treviso, Italy, in 1965. Known for its “United Colours” catch phrase and quirky advertising campaigns, casual but lively and unique attire is the cornerstone of this fashion dynasty.

Alfred Sung

Alfred Sung is a world renowned designer who is known for his elegant bridal dresses and sensational perfume range. The Hong Kong-born Canadian businessman is quiet, shy and lives a very private life. As a young man, he was an aspiring artist, but moved to Paris to study couture then later to New York, attending the Parson's School of Design for a year. His working career began in Seventh Avenue in New York's Garment District. In 1927 Sung made the move to Toronto, Canada, where he started out as a junior designer on Spadina Avenue for Lidzon Ltd.

Bourjois

Alexandre Napoleon Bourjois began his company as a make up manufacturer in France, 1863. He was a pioneer and developed the world's first powder blush, Pastel Joues. It was primarily used in theater and proved to be a hit with models and actresses. Bourjois' success soared, and this revolutionary make up spread around the world, taking women's dressing tables by storm.

Summary: One of 7 fragrances from the new Art of Perfumery line, #5 is a sweet oriental described as a fresh update on a classic theme.Pros: Fantastic longevity; only lightly floral without being too "pretty" or "fussy"; is not another typical replica of Shalimar. Cons: Might be a little on the sweet side for some, though thankfully not due to an overdose of vanilla.Note

 

Jardins de Bagatelle Eau de Toilette by Guerlain {Perfume Short - Express Perfume Review}

Exquisite, exquisite is the word to describe Jardins de Bagatelle. I was curious to test yet another one of the Guerlains in an eau de toilette version as they are in general much decried amongst perfumistas. Seeing this one in a package sent from France I decided to give it a go.
