The battle of celebrity perfumes

It's becoming a trend lately for celebrities to reinvent themselves with a new line of perfumes. Antonio Banderas, Carlos Santana, Cristina Aguilera, Britney Spears and many more, have come up with more or less unique fragrances. However, I was surprised to learn that Prince  will release his own brand of perfume - 3121. While this doesn't sounds unusual, the odd part is that this "Xquisite, Mysterious, Xotic" that will smell like a "kaleidoscope of rich florals" is intended for women rather than for men.

For Shilpa Shetty, a reality show celebrity in Great Britain, her perfume is more than a business. Her "S2" is a clear statement for her arch enemy, Jade Goody. Jade's perfume, Ssh... was removed from the shelves of many high street chains and the new perfume by Shilpa - S2 - is expected to take its place.

While I have no problem with celebrities coming up with their own fragrances, I think each one of us could do that with great results. If you're thinking of how to do it, I've found a website that lets you create your own fragrance.
